With so many websites offering money to fill out surveys, it became confusing on what’s legit and what isn’t. To be honest, there are a couple of online survey sites, that will rip off those that sign up. Sometimes it’s by not being upfront about sign up fees. Sometimes they are phishing scams.
The important question is: “Is Panel PayDay a scam?”
I’ll give you everything you need to know in this Panel Payday Review and whether it’s worth your time or not.
What Is Panel PayDay?
Panel PayDay is one of the many survey-related websites. It’s the link that connects you to their partners. Each of these partners offers different surveys that pay.
Panel PayDay makes their money when you sign up with any of their retailers. Basically, they are affiliate marketers. So they don’t offer you surveys. They send you to other top survey sites, such as Vindale Research, and they earn commissions.
One of the things that stands out when you first check out Panel PayDay is that they promise you’d make $25 to $75 a survey. Now, that does seem fishy!
Seeing that their starting point is $25 got me asking all sorts of questions.
Here’s my review of Panel PayDay based on my own experience.
Sign Up Process
Signing up takes you through a couple of steps that might be a bit time-consuming.
When you first go onto the Panel PayDay website, it’ll ask you for your email and name. This is the easiest step throughout the process.
In the next step, you’ll get notified that by signing up you’ve agreed to receive emails from Panel PayDay and all their partners. That’s why I suggest creating a separate email address for this website or any survey-related website.
Usually, with this type of service, you’ll get a ton of spam emails. Moreover, they’ll most probably sell your information to other advertising companies. So to have better control over important emails, just create a separate email.
You’ll then be taken to your first offers page. You’ll find a list of partners’ offers that you can choose from. Once you select one of them, you’ll be taken to their website.
There, you’ll need to create a separate sign up form.
In this step, that’s where my suspicions started growing. You’ll find offers from different websites telling you that ‘limited spots available’. The funny thing is that no matter how many times you go back to it, the number of spots won’t change.
That’s how you’ll know that these offers aren’t legit. You do have the option to choose ‘no’ and continue to the next page normally.
Panel PayDay Surveys
What was a bit shocking is that when you first take surveys you’ll find out that you won’t get paid.
The reason is that in order to start getting paid, you have to pass the first level of online survey taking. You’ll take a series of surveys first. Those surveys will grant you ‘gifts’ and not money. They do that so they’d know if you’re serious about taking surveys or not.
Once you finish the number of surveys, you’ll then be moved to the next level and start getting paid.
This wasn’t clarified in the beginning. That is one of the reasons why people might start thinking that this is a scam.
Partners Panel PayDay Works With
Under each of the offers, you’ll find the option to read more about each company. Usually, it’ll be filled with so much information, none of which you’d be interested in.
If you’re looking to know about the price and how you’ll get paid, go the website directly. You might find better answers to your questions on their direct website or FAQ page.
Getting Paid by Panel PayDay
Here’s the tricky part, there isn’t a standard way of getting paid. That is because again, Panel PayDay is just the middleman between you and their partners.
Depending on each offer you complete you’ll be notified of how you’ll receive your money online. Some will put it in your PayPal account, while others will give you a gift card.
Again, the option of the gift card wasn’t clarified in the beginning. After all, we were promised $25-$75/survey.
The sad part here though is that you won’t get paid that much per survey. I’m not sure why they’d claim you would.
You might be able to get in that range on a weekly basis. That is if you work for many hours per day and finding the right offers if there’s any.
The average pay per survey panel is somewhere between $.50 and $3. You do have to keep in mind that each page you connect to you, you’ll have to go through the signup process separately.
Pros of Panel PayDay
- Endless Offers
Cons of Panel PayDay
- Sign up process
- Vague instructions
- Not a survey company
Is It a Scam?
In my opinion, I’d say it’s not a big scam. You’ll eventually get paid. That’s why it’s not a scam when it comes to money.
They’re just not honest in terms of how or when you’ll get it. That’s what most people have complained about.
Even though that isn’t a very good image to what they’re trying to make. They do link you to a ton of websites that you can fill out surveys there.
You may question the legitimacy of some of these websites that Panel PayDay is connecting you to. I suggest taking some time and searching online. There are a few websites that you can simply insert the web address and they’ll tell you whether it’s legit or not.
Some websites were found to be a bit dangerous though. They might have malware, for instance, even worse they could be a phishing website.
